The ground rules for every project: what gets built, how many revision rounds are included, when payment is due, and who owns the result.
LAST UPDATED: 2 AUGUST 2026These terms apply between Aldebaran Web Services (Jakarta, Indonesia) — hereafter “we” — and the party ordering our services, hereafter “the client”. By accepting a quote or making the first payment, the client is deemed to have read and agreed to the terms on this page.
We build websites and web applications, manage digital advertising (Google Ads and Meta Ads), do SEO work, and build AI-based workflow automation. The scope of each project is written out in the quotation document: the list of pages or modules, features, third-party integrations, and the deadline for each stage.
Not included unless stated in the quotation: writing all body copy and supplying product photography, buying domains and hosting in the client’s name, licence fees for paid themes or plugins, the ad spend itself (the client pays the platform directly), and monthly maintenance after the warranty period.
Requests outside the agreed scope count as additional work and are quoted separately before they are started. We do not quietly build extras and invoice for them afterwards.
Every stage includes two rounds of revisions: one after the design is delivered, one after implementation is finished. One round means one list of changes sent in a single batch, not requests trickling in one at a time.
Revisions cover changes to layout, colour, copy, and functional adjustments that stay within scope. A wholesale change of concept after the design has been approved counts as new work.
If the client does not respond to a stage delivery for 14 calendar days, that stage is treated as approved so the project schedule does not hang.
Payment is split into three instalments, unless the quotation states another scheme:
Invoices fall due 7 calendar days after they are issued. We may pause work if an invoice is more than 14 days past due, and resume once it is settled. All prices are in Rupiah and exclude applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
Deadlines in the quotation are counted in business days and assume the client’s materials (copy, logo, photos, account access) arrive on time. Late materials push the deadline by the length of the delay, without reducing the contract value.
Once payment is settled in full, full rights of use over the final result — design, project-specific source code, content, and the assets we created — pass to the client. The client is free to modify it, move it to another server, or hand it to someone else.
The frameworks, libraries, and internal components we reuse across many projects remain ours, and the client receives a licence to use them within that project without time limit.
Confidentiality runs both ways. A client’s source code, databases, credentials, sales figures, and business plans are not shared, not reused for another client, and not shown as an example without written permission. This obligation survives the end of the project. If the client allows a project to appear in our portfolio, what may be shown is agreed in writing first.
We fix functional defects (bugs) at no cost for 30 days from handover. The warranty does not cover damage caused by changes made by others, plugin or theme updates done by the client, changes in third-party platform policy, or outages at the client’s hosting provider.
For ad campaign results and search rankings we promise sound method and honest reporting — not a particular ranking position or sales figure, because both are controlled by third-party platforms.
Either party may terminate a project with 14 days’ written notice. If the client terminates, work completed up to the termination date is still invoiced and the partial result is handed over once paid. If we terminate without fault on the client’s side, unused funds are refunded.
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Indonesia. Disputes are first pursued through good-faith discussion; failing that, they are settled at the district court in Jakarta.
